Where I Grew Up

by Mark I Myhre

Here’s a picture of the house where I lived in the early ’60’s.

This picture was taken in January 2014.

Those low shrubs you see on the left side of the house used to be like an overgrown jungle when I lived there, and that’s where I’d hide.

Hi! Mark I M.,

I Did Something Similar When I Was Growing Up. I Was Scared Of Dentists; And A Friend Of The Family, That Used To Visit Us Was A Dentist. And When I Heard He Was Coming To Visit, I Would Hide In My Bedroom Closet. But My Mom Always Made Me Come Out And Greet Our Dentist Friend. I Didn’t Want To Open My Mouth, I Thought He’d Find A Cavity. And Try To Fill It Right There.
So I Know How You Felt When You Were Growing Up.

Well, Got To Go For Now. Take Care And Stay Well.

ALL THE BEST TO YOU,
LESLIE C.
